Limitations and practicalities

The NRIXS code requires substantial stack space. We recommend changing the available stacksize to unlimited using shell commands like (in tcsh)

 > limit stacksize unlimited 

or (in bash)

 > ulimit -s unlimited. 

The following input cards cannot currently be used for NRIXS: CFAVERAGE, SPIN, ELLIPTICITY, MULTIPOLE, POLARIZATION, TDLDA, RPHASES, XES, XMCD.

Also, the NRIXS code cannot run in k-space.
